The Salient Video Player element makes it easy to place a video player wherever you need in your content.

With the Self Hosted Video Player option, you have more flexibility on how the video will display. You can set a video preview image, and have the option to loop the video, set it to autoplay, and there’s an option to hide the video controls. You can also easily add a border radius (rounded corners) and box shadow. Additionally, there’s an option to add a gradient overlay to the video if you’d like. You also have the same options as the Standard Video Player component: control the alignment, width, and video aspect ratio.

The Standard Video Player, for YouTube or Vimeo hosted videos, has less options. You can control the alignment, width, and video aspect ratio. 16:9 is the standard video aspect ratio and most commonly used.
