Salient offers many team member styles to save you time. Any of the below styles can be placed in any column width and be used in a full width row or contained row.
On Team Member component settings, there are five styles to choose from: Meta Below, Meta Overlaid, Meta Overlaid Alt, Meta Overlaid with Bio Modal and Meta Below with Bio Modal.
Team Member Fields include: Team Member Name, Job Position, and Team Member Image. If you choose the “Meta Below With Bio Modal” style, you also have the option to add parallax effect to the image. Mini Biography text and Biography Content with accompanying Bio Image is available in the options that include the Bio Modal. Also, options with the Bio Modal include an additional image field, so you can display two images of the Team Member- the main image & a different image in the Bio Modal window. Bio Modal content can contain HTML or simple text. If one of the styles that does not include the Bio Modal is selected, you have the option to link off to another page.
Several Team Member Style options also include opportunities to include social media links. In the “Meta Below” style, social links must be displayed as text (not as icons, as shown in the examples below.) In the Team Member Styles that include Bio Modals, social media icons are displayed within the Bio Modal windows. Social media links are optional.
It's important to note that all variations of the Team Member element can be adjusted or styled differently fairly easily, including gradient overlays, fonts & type styling and more. If one of the Bio Modal options is used, the Bio Modal styling can also be adjusted fairly easy as long as the overall functionality remains the same.
